Your missions
We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Officer to work closely with our lawyers and Billing & Collection Manager to streamline our billing process.
This role offers a stimulating environment and the chance to collaborate with a diverse team of experts.
As Billing Officer, you will :
Manage billing reconciliations, discounts, disbursement allocations, and advance billing procedures.
Serve as the main contact for all billing-related queries, credit notes, and client requests.
Coordinate with internal finance and administrative teams to ensure accurate and timely billing.
Monitor and manage WIP (Work in Progress), including reviews, write-offs, and reporting to Partners.
Maintain accurate client and matter data; support updates to billing rates and master data.
Generate reports and analyses to help improve billing efficiency and reduce outstanding WIP.
Ensure compliance with internal billing and credit policies, as well as client protocols.
Support collection activities and assist with the development of new team members.

Your ideal profile
- Proven secretarial experience in a fast-paced corporate environment; experience in a law firm is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including advanced presentation skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Experience in creating business management quality decks is essential.
- Fluency in French and English;
- Highly structured, organized, and able to demonstrate initiative and an energetic approach to work.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong sense of ownership of tasks.
- Positive spirit and a collaborative mindset.
