Role & Responsibilites
This is a junior accounting position focused on supporting the Fund Accounting team in the accounting and financial reporting of a portfolio of funds and related entities, primarily in the private equity and real estate sectors.
Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, assisting in the preparation of periodic financial reports (under Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS), supporting capital call and distribution processes, and handling other daily accounting and administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will work within a small client team, reporting directly to senior fund accountants and managers.
Key Responsibilities

Perform bookkeeping for funds and SPVs, including posting invoices, interest, and accruals

Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation

Respond to client queries and participate in client meetings as required

Assist senior team members with the preparation of financial statements under Lux GAAP and IFRS

Support the preparation of consolidation workings and intercompany eliminations

Contribute to regulatory reporting deliverables, including BCL and CSSF reporting

Assist in the preparation of VAT and CIT returns

Coordinate year-end audit processes and liaise with auditors

Prepare bank payments across multiple banking platforms, ensuring all required documentation (including KYC) is complete

Support the calculation of equalisation, drawdowns, distributions, and management fees, referencing relevant fund documentation (e.g., LPA)
- Maintain effective communication with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery of services
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Audit, or Finance
- 2-3 years of professional experience in the Fund industry, audit firms or similar role
- Experience in NAV calculations and NAV production
- Familiarity with Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
