Your missions
As a Junior Risk Officer,
you will be involved in the day to day management and oversight of complex Private Equity and Real Estate portfolios of various Alternative Investment Funds and Funds of Funds. You will directly report to the Conducting Officer.
 Key Responsibilities:
-  ongoing monitoring of the funds under management risk profiles. Implementation and review of the risk management process for the funds under management. Ex-ante assessment of risk factors in relation to potential investments and recommendation to the company’s investment committee.
- Participate in the set-up and implementation of, evaluation and where required amendment of the risk management procedures and systems in order to allow the AIFM to identify, measure, manage and monitor on an on-going basis all risks to which the funds may be exposed.
- Participate in the valuation process and monitoring of the funds under management including the fair-valuation estimation of their underlying investments. Keeping up-to-date and challenging the AIFM’s valuation policies.
- Assist with on-boarding of new funds and initial due diligences (desktop and on-site DDs).
- Participate in the drafting, review and update the AIFM’s policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Be the point of contact for depositary and central administration.
- Support the Conducting Officer in day to day requirements and administrative tasks.

Your ideal profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Law, or related experience. Risk management certification is a plus.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience within the financial services industry with preferably first direct exposure mutual funds (BIG4 experience would be a strong advantage)
- A minimum awareness of the regulatory environment of the Luxembourg funds industry/AIFMD.
- Fluent in English; French is an asset
